2,000 years of walking dead. Departing 7:30pm, calling at Eerie, Spooky, Bloody, Nasty, Gratuitous, Inhuman, Barbarous, Blood Curdling and terminating at The Crack of Doom.
This tour blends ghosts stories, tales of execution and murder. There will be tales aplenty of torture, traitors, poltergeists and souls doomed to walk the ancient City streets until Judgement Day. You can walk… but you can’t hide.
All the while we’ll be haunted by the rich history of London. What dreams may come when we have shuffled off this walking tour…?

Ghosts of the Old City
Of all the tours I lead for the famous London Walks company, this is the one I enjoy most of all. I love its blend of history and storytelling and its location. Oh, and it’s pretty gory, too. I also love the mix of people that it draws – all ages and all beliefs. Some come to laugh at the idea of ghosts, others keep an open mind and that makes for a fun evening. Best of all, on a Saturday night the streets of the City of London are practically deserted so we have the place to ourselves. Even in high summer, when the light begins to fade at the end of the tour, the City Of London is a uniquely atmospheric place.
